Grammy award-winning reggae superstar Sean Paul and multi-talented producer/artiste Leftside have teamed up to present “Dutty Rock”, a weekly party series staged on Friday nights at Club Riddim in New Kingston. The first staging of the event took place on February 17 and attracted a substantial crowd that included entertainers such as Bling Dawg, Wayne Marshall, Bounty Killer, Shane-O, Esco, Harry Toddler, Denyque, Danielle (D.I.) and Ding Dong.

“The turnout was much more than we anticipated but we loved the vibe. We got great support from all over Jamaica and support from the college community was good. Coppershot set a high energy level in the Club with a wicked mix and the crowd enjoyed the performances. The show represents unity in music and dancehall and that was evident in the attendance on Friday,” stated Leftside.

According to Sean Paul, every Friday patrons can enjoy “resident sound, Coppershot with the hottest guest DJ’s weekly, fly girls and a wicked vibe”. The event has since received sponsorship support from telecoms company Digicel.
