The undeniable vocal talent of Stephanie Wallace-Maxwell graced Redbones Blues Cafe in New Kingston on May 31, and delighted the intimate gathering with a delicately beautiful musical tapestry that resonated with pure emotion. With husband Stephen Maxwell on keyboard, Horace “Yelluh” Ellis on percussion, Nicholas “Sparrow” Robinson on guitar and backing vocalist Antonio Campbell, Stephanie served up a rich mix of musical genres that was in keeping with the show’s title “Musicology”.

The recording artiste and songwriter mesmerised the audience with original material such as “Got It Right Here”, “Need A Change”, “Real Woman” and “Crescent Moon” (UNITZz), and of the covers she performed of the night, perhaps the most stirring was Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain”. Among the highlights of her set was the debut preformance of the new track “I’m Ready”.
