The 2015 Grammy nominations are out!  Here are some factoids as well as the nominees:

1985: Black Uhuru received the first-ever Reggae Grammy Award.
1992: The name of the award was changed to Best Reggae Album.
2002: Awards were frequently presented to the engineers, mixers, and/or producers in addition to the performing artistes.
2010: Eligible works are vocal or instrumental reggae albums containing at minimum of 51% playing time of newly recorded music including roots reggae, dancehall and ska music.
