Jamaican golfer Wesley Brown is now ranked 1548th in the world. According to Official World Golf Ranking rules, Brown had to court consistency to accumulate the required points over a two-year period in order to enter the ranking.
In August of this year, Brown helped himself to two National Golf Association (NGA) tournament titles in the US. He conquered the Carolinas with back-to-back victories at the Aberdeen Golf Club Summer series in the north and the Brunswick Classic in the south.

Brown poses with his ceremonial cheque after his first NGA Tour win at the Aberdeen Country Club Golf Course in North Carolina.
Earlier this month, he maintained good form to register wins at the Do Dare Charity and Alliance Buccaneer Memorial tourneys locally. The rising star is currently on a break, but will resume touring in January and February on the local and international circuits, respectively.
Brown is sponsored by Sandals Resorts International, where he is also employed as a caddy.
